Meet the Artist
Hello! I’m Emily Jade, a Cairns-based artist creating original textured paintings inspired by flowers, birds, colour and the natural world.
My work began with florals, but over time my paintings have grown alongside me - bringing in birds, botanicals and little moments from places and people around me.
Each artwork is created slowly by hand using layers of acrylic, palette knives and texture, with the hope of creating pieces that feel joyful, detailed and full of life.
Whether its a bird that reminds you of home, flowers from a favourite garden, or a custom piece holding a special memory, i love creating artwork that means something beyond what’s on the canvas.
