Stories in Paint
Some of the most meaningful paintings begin with the smallest memories.
The photograph Grandpa showed me that day.
The finished painting, created for Grandpa.
The last time i visited my grandfather, he showed me a photo on his computer of a bird standing on a cactus. He was fascinated by how this tiny bird could perch amongst all those sharp cactus spikes without being hurt.
It was such a small moment, but one that stayed with me.
So for Father’s Day, i turned that memory into a painting for him - a little moment from our time together, captured on canvas, to last a lifetime.
